Corporate Worship   10:00 - 11:30 AM

Worship is not reducible to a single activity or a Sunday gathering. The Bible views all of life as worship—not potential worship but actual worship of someone or something. God designed us to live in relationship with something bigger, more glorious, and more satisfying than ourselves; and inevitably, we do. Every moment of our lives is an expression of joyful submission to God or distressful submission to someone or something else. Christianity is simply what happens when people worship Jesus Christ instead of money, fame, power, or pleasure.

Biblical worship, then, is fundamentally about God, not about us. He is the Initiator of our worship, revealing Himself and calling out an appropriate response from His creatures. He is the Object of our worship, receiving our expressions of desire, gratitude, service, faith, humility, wonder, and obedience. And He is the Audience for our worship, accepting our offerings only through the sanctifying work of His Son.

Our corporate worship gatherings are built upon this understanding. We come together to respond to God through Christ by the Spirit with singing, prayer, preaching, giving, serving, confessing sin, observing the ordinances, and more.

If you're wondering what to wear, don't worry. Some people like to dress up on Sunday morning; others don’t! God is most interested in your heart, and so are we!

Our members are always friendly and welcoming, so please let us know what we can do to care for you while you’re here.
